How this website handles registrations, enquiries and optional analytics.

Prelaunch draft. The producer’s legal identity and privacy contact must be completed and this notice reviewed before public launch. This preview is for evaluation.

Who is responsible

The producer of How to New York! (legal name to be supplied before launch). Privacy contact: info@howtonewyorkshow.com You can also use our contact form.

First-access registrations

We collect your first name, email, relationship to New York, preferred attendance period or month, and estimated ticket quantity. We use this information to measure interest, plan the production and send the ticket announcements you request. Registering does not buy or reserve a ticket.

We record the wording and version of your consent, the time you register and the time you confirm your email. Broader show news and offers require the separate, optional checkbox. Confirm your email using the link we send. You may unsubscribe using the personal link in our emails.

Enquiries

We use the details you submit—including company, group size, dates, venue preference and notes—to respond to your request and plan potential private events. Do not include payment details or sensitive personal information in free-text fields.

Optional analytics

Analytics are off until you choose “Allow analytics”. If enabled, a random browser identifier measures visits, ticket-interest clicks, traffic sources and campaign performance. It is not a ticket purchase record. We store only the referring hostname and allowlisted campaign labels, not full referring URLs. Reporting covers consenting browsers and will not represent every visitor.

Your analytics choice is saved in this browser. If you decline, no analytics identifier is created. You can change your choice using “Cookie choices” in the footer. Consent lasts six months; an analytics identifier lasts at most 90 days. Consented campaign attribution is kept for 30 minutes to connect a landing-page visit to a registration. Server security controls temporarily use a salted IP hash for request limiting; the application does not store raw IP addresses.

Your shopping cart

The Goods saves selected products, sizes, print colours and quantities in this browser so your cart is there when you return. It expires after 30 days without an update. Removing items clears those selections. The preview cart does not collect payment details, create orders or send your selections to the server.

Storage and service providers

Registrations and enquiries are stored in the WordPress database and are available only to authorised site administrators. The hosting company and configured email delivery provider process data to operate the service. The final providers, relevant processing locations and any international-transfer safeguards must be documented here before launch. There is no payment processing in the prelaunch site.

Retention and your choices

Pending unconfirmed registrations expire after 30 days. Confirmed registrations and enquiries are reviewed and automatically removed after 12 months; analytics events after 90 days. Unsubscribing stops future announcement and marketing messages from this system. You can request access, correction, export or erasure through the privacy contact. WordPress privacy tools support export and erasure after verification.

Before public launch

The producer must confirm the data controller, lawful bases, email and hosting processors, retention policy, applicable rights and complaint route. This draft explains the implemented data flows and requires review for the final operating arrangements.
